Introduction

Indonesia is the home to 10-15% of the world’s known plants. This natural wealth has been used by Indonesian people to make home appliances to help with their daily life. Since there are around 300 ethnic groups with varied cultures and some of the plants are endemic to the parts of Indonesia, the handicrafts are also diverse from one area to the others.
